FSDcme.org (Female Sexual Dysfunction) houses a comprehensive national continuing medical education curriculum that addresses the epidemiology and diagnosis of hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD), strategies to facilitate communication with patients about female sexual dysfunction, and increased awareness of the management options for HSDD and other female sexual dysfunctions.
Educational Objectives
After participating in this educational curriculum, participants should be able to:
- Describe the classification and types of female sexual dysfunction, and the latest evidence related to the incidence, prevalence, and overall health burden of HSDD among women of all ages
- Identify the importance of being able to recognize and diagnose HSDD in the context of its potential to cause distress, social withdrawal, and relationship conflict
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively engage female patients about their sexual health and its relevance to their overall health status
- Review the investigational pharmacological and nonpharmacological management options for HSDD
